&&_welcome to Vacant Heights, a 'fairly' interesting Wolf RPG. I know you might be groaning and thinking to yourself: "even they think they're mediocre!" Well, we don't necessarily think we're mediocre, but we don't exactly have much new, fresh material to add to the genre of fantasy wolf roleplaying. We're not gonna lie to you and call ourselves a 'unique' roleplaying game, like some of those other people, but we hope you'll give us a chance, anyhow! We provide a friendly, fun atmosphere for roleplayers of all levels!

&&_land of CONFUSiON
NEW FOREST &&_the New Forest is home to a Greater Pack of wolves that call themselves the Myran. They are clever and cunning wolves, with dark pelts and even darker hearts. They are more savage than any other pack in the entire land. New Forest is a pine forest at the base of the Halye Mountains, and as a result, it's very cold. Deer and small woodland creatures make up the diet of the Myran wolves.

HALYE MOUNTAiNS &&_these mountains cover most of the Land of Confusion, and overshadow the New Forest with their mighty peaks. The Myran wolves will sometimes go into the mountains to hunt, if prey is scarce in the forest, but it is not their territory. Many lone wolves like to roam these mountains, living in caves and eating the mountain sheep that graze there.

RYNRROD FJORD &&_the long fjord would be a good place for the wolves of the Land of Confusion to go to for water, if not for it's steep ledges and the dangerous depth of the water itself. As a result, the wolves stay very far away from it, and seek water in other places. Many a time, wolves have fallen to their deaths from the ledges during a hunt. It is best to be careful whilst walking about this part of the land.

LOCHEASH DESERT &&_on the other side of the forest is a dry and barren desert, and beyond that is the volcanic world of Dawn, where the Tondel Pack live. There is a dusty path going through here, but at times it cuts off, and wolves have lost their way and died of thirst. There are small oasis' here and there, but a lot of them are far from the trail, and hard to find. There is little to no prey out here, save for a few reptiles and sand rabbits. Hidden in the desert is a large metal beast, and a Lesser Pack of wolves live and thrive there.

&&_hidden in the world of DAWN
VOLCANiC RiDGE &&_the secretive and curious Tondel Pack make their home here amongst dangerous volcanoes. They are hearty wolves, with thin coats and stocky builds. Their body types force them to be scavengers, and eat already dead things. Lava trickles down the side of the ridge, and the ground is very hot underpaw if you have not grown up walking on it.

SHEYLiA DUNES &&_these sand dunes seem to stretch for miles and miles. If you walk long enough, you'll find a crater filled to the brim with water, an unusual sight to see in the desert for sure. This is where the Tondel wolves get their water. It may be a long trek just to get water, but it's worth it.

KiNTAR RUiNS &&_this is considered sacred ground. It is just as dry as the rest of Dawn, but when you step here, it feels cold. The bones of many wolves lay scattered among the ruins, and it is said that if a living wolf touches them, they ground will open beneath them and swallow them. There is a stone circle and high platform in the center of the ruins. Tondel rituals and executions are preformed by the Kin'kin of the pack here. Vicious, mad lone wolves lurk around every corner, their eyes glowing red as lava.

MYRiHE PORTAL &&_many lone wolves and Lesser Packs hang about this slightly cooler and less dry stretch of land. The Tondel Pack are never happy with this, as they believe that there is a pool hidden somewhere in the land that serves as a portal to enter Akelo, a land of plenty and eternal happiness.

&&_in the WiLDERNESS
GLOAMiNG SWAMP &&_the Vaxer Pack make their home deep in the Gloaming Swamp. It is exceptionally hard to get around in, and very dangerous as there are sinkholes, quicksand pits, poisonous snakes, and gators everywhere. The Vaxer wolves are very cunning creatures, with speed and wit on their side. Their main living area is an 'island' in the middle of the swamp, and they dine mostly on frogs and other reptiles.

BUR'BELO WOODLAND &&_the woodland has always been a prime place for lone wolves and Lesser Packs to live, but recently there's been an outbreak of fires, leaving part of the woods burned, with only skeletons of what were once luscious trees remaining. Rumor has it that there is an enchanted patch of forest that no fire can burn, where there is plenty food, water, and prey, like heaven on Earth.
XELENi GRAVEYARD &&_when a she-wolf of the Vaxer Pack dies, they will be buried here by their closest friend. Six chosen male wolves will guard the fresh grave that night, making sure the Vaxer wolf's spirit reaches the moon that night. A small creature, such as a rabbit or mouse, may be buried alive with the corpse so that they might serve as a companion (or food source) for the dead she-wolf on her journey to the moon. Males of the Vaxer pack are given less elaborate burial rituals, and may just simply be dumped in one of the sinking pits around the graveyard.
DANiLDRYN WASTELAND &&_an empty wasteland, with miles upon miles of endless sand. Buried within the sand are scraps of metal and broken stones from once-mighty structures. Legend has it that Man built a city here once, but the Vaxer wolves were angry, so they called down a sandstorm to destroy Man's city, and now all that's left are the tops of the towers peaking up out of the sand.

&&_home by the SEA
SNAKE ISLAND &&_this is the home of the Dray Pack, a large, luscious island in the middle of the bay. The Dray wolves are excellent swimmers, and have the abilities to get back and forth from the mainland to the island, even in tough and churning waters. Their main diet on the island is fish and birds, but when they go the mainland, they have a bigger choice of food.

ZALATU BEACH &&_this is a long stretch of beach, with palms scattered here and there. It is a beautiful place, and many lone wolves and lesser packs live here in peace and harmony. They tend to make their homes in cliff caves high above the beach. There is a pool of fresh water hidden in a grove of fruit trees, surrounded by a crumbling wall.
KALAGE CLiFF &&_this cliff has a huge, tall structure standing on top of it. No wolf knows where it comes from, but it is used by the Dray Pack as a prison for lawbreakers in their ranks. Seagulls nest all over these cliffs, and lone wolves like to steal their eggs to eat. It is very high and rocky here, and if you step too close to the edge, it could be your doom. The cliff is not stable at all, and if a ledge gives way underneath, you'll find yourself falling to your death.

SULENA COVE &&_this cove is a great place to go fishing, but the water isn't good to drink, and will only make you more thirsty if you do so. Hunters can trap prey like bucks and other large mammals here by running them down the cliffside and into the cove where they have no escape. Watch for the foxes that lurk in the cliffs, though, they like to steal prey while wolves aren't looking.
