&&_welcome to Vacant Heights, a 'fairly' interesting Wolf RPG. I know you might be groaning and thinking to yourself: "even they think they're mediocre!" Well, we don't necessarily think we're mediocre, but we don't exactly have much new, fresh material to add to the genre of fantasy wolf roleplaying. We're not gonna lie to you and call ourselves a 'unique' roleplaying game, like some of those other people, but we hope you'll give us a chance, anyhow! We provide a friendly, fun atmosphere for roleplayers of all levels!

A pure white wolf trotted along the sandy beach, she looked up at the cloudy sky, then over to the beach. The waves were crashing up on the rocks, and the wind was picking up. Watching the waves crash up on the rocks reminded her of her father, he loved the beach and the ocean so much. Which is why Aurora decided to live out the rest of her life here. She walked over to one of the large rocks and climbed upon it, laying down as the waves soaked her with water. Her tail swished back and forth as she was splashed buy the waves comming up on the rocks.

Geist galloped along the wet sands. Cool breezes tugged at his mane of mottled red and dark grey fur. The incoming waves danced at his paws in swaths of seawater. He let out a sigh of contentment. On beaches like this were the only places he could find peace in being alone; traversing wastelands or forests void of wolves brought him only sorrow. His tawny eyes scanned the horizon as he pulled away from these thoughts to enjoy the serenity.
Suddenly, he noticed a white form on one of the rocks. It was a she-wolf, with waves breaking over her. Geist blinked in shock as he hadn't noticed before. An amused smirk then soon crossed over his face. It really was a pleasant surprise to one who had been alone for so long to come across another. He ventured to remark softly as he approached, with a casual gait that showed he meant no harm, "You're getting soaked up there."
ooc; lemme know if my font size is too small; I can change it back to the default if you want ^^

Aurora's ears went back as she heard the wolf behind her, she turned to face him and tilted her head to the side. Jumping off the rock she shook and smiled at him, "Yeah i know, unfortunetley thats what happens." she said with a soft smile. Her fur was still pretty wet even after she shook most of the water off. She sat down and watched him as she waited for a reply.

The cinnamon-colored wolf's eyes glimmered slightly as he watched her ears swivel back toward him. She hadn't seemed to be the hostile sort, perched on a rock and enjoying the sea, but he knew that others sometimes did not like to be surprised and was ready to leap back in case she got violent. He had just felt that speaking out ahead of time would have been the right thing to do. His muscles relaxed when a smile lit up her pale muzzle.
The stranger's lean form leapt off of the rock into the sand near him, moisture running down her pelt even as she gave it a quick shake. He blinked and half smirked as some of the drops landed on him. Geist chuckled softly and shortly at her reply and nodded slightly as she sat down. He copied her and swished his tail in the sands, still surveying the beach around them.
"Pretty beautiful place here," the grey-streaked wolf said quietly. He glanced at her again briefly. "Is this where you live?" He hesitated as another thought occurred to him that hadn't before. Inhaling deeply, he took in her scent and found that it was not cloaked with that of the packs he had seen during his wanderings. "You're a lone wolf, too, aren't you?"

Aurora smiled slightly as she watched him, with a tilt of her head she smiled as he spoke. "Yes it is." she said softly as she turned her gaze out to the sea beyond them, then back to him. She sighed when she heard the next thing he spoke of. Her home, it reminded her of her family. She nodded slightly, "Yes, i like to call it that since i have no home anymore." she stated thinking back to her real home with a sigh. Her smile was gone now and he would soon see the true depressing wolf that she was. "Yes i am a lone wolf, i had a home at once but that didn't last long." she told him with a tilt of her head.

The male wolf's tail continued to slide across the sands, creating a shallow valley in the beach. He was slightly lost in thought even as the other, pale loner spoke back to him as the clouds hovered above. He was remembering his past life; perhaps the only reason he fled to beaches as his favorite places was that he had never run across the sea as he traveled in grief.
Geist nodded sympathetically as she stated that she didn't have a home anymore, so this was where she stayed. Her delicate smile had vanished from her muzzle, and instead a depressed aura was cloaking her. "As did I," he murmured when she said she once had a home. "I still haven't really found anywhere else to settle. I let the wind guide my paws and end up wherever I must rest."
The reddish wolf probably did not seem very disappointed that he was without a pack, but this was only because he was trying to push the thoughts of his old life away. He didn't want needless depression to consume him also. He glanced at the female, tawny eyes softening slightly. "I apologize if this topic is uncomfortable for you."

She listened carefully to his words, she felt so happy around him and didn't know why. The soft and beautiful smile returned as he spoke his kind words to her. See the thing about her is that she is always depressed but she has the most beautiful and loving smile another will probably ever see. She gazed at him before replying, "Oh it's fine, don't worry about it. Anway i've had worse things then this conversation." she replied to him. Her eyes shinned as she looked at him waiting for a reply patiently.
